Mexican Coffee Laced with Rum

3/4 cup ground coffee
2 tsp ground cinnamon
6 cups water
1 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Rum to taste

Place coffee and cinnamon in filter basket of coffeemaker. Add water and brew the coffee. In a saucepan blend milk, cocoa powder and sugar. Stir until hot but do not boil. Combine milk mixture with brewed coffee. Stir in vanilla extract and rum to taste.
