does anyone have a good mudslide recepie?

i've attempted them a few times since i learned about it. the first one i had, was my uncles. i remember it tasting awsome. like chocolate milk but a little nicer.

Here are the ones in my bartender recipe book.


mudslide {floater}
1/2oz coffee liqueur {bottom}
1/2oz irish cream
1/2oz vodka {top}

mudslide {rocks}
fill glass with ice.
1 oz. coffee liqueur
1 oz. irish cream
1 oz vodka
shake.

mudslide {frozen} most common recipe
in blender: 1/2 cup of ice
1oz coffee liqueur
1 oz. irish cream
1oz vodka
scoop of vanilla ice cream
blend til smooth., if too thick add milk or cream
if too thin add ice or ice cream

mudslide 2
fill galss with ice.
1oz dark creme de cocao
1oz irish cream
shake

This is good too:
Blenderize:
Ice Cubes, Milk and Nestle's Quik powder
Add vanilla ice cream and vodka.

There's not a name for it, but it's quite tasty. You can even throw in a frozen banana instead of the ice cream for a change.

jkath, can you give amounts/proportions? I don't always go by them, but I need a starting point.

hmmm - that's a tough one...let's see.
Try this - mix the Nesquik and milk till it's as chocolatey as typical chocolate milk, filling a large drinking glass. Pour it into the blender. Then, add as much ice as would fit into 1/2-2/3 of the glass. Then 1 shot of vodka, more if your day needs it. (PS - vanilla vodka is really really good!) As for the ice cream, I'd use a small scoop. If you want extra oompf, add a shot of cold espresso.

Stoli Vanille is tasty.

(Although, of all vanilla drinks, my favorite is vanilla rum. Favorite flavored alcohol is Malibu Coconut Rum)

Square Cow


3 oz. Pineapple juice
1 oz. Cranberry juice
2 oz. Malibu rum

Fill tall glass with ice. Pour all of the above over ice. Stir

I have never tried it! I think I may need to!
