Thumbs up Red wine makes fat mice healthy

i haven't noticed anyone else posting it here, but go check out this story:

red wine makes fat mice healthy

proof that beer drinkers need to switch up! i've been telling people now, "i'm not a lush, i'm self-medicating."

It is not the red wine that makes the fat mice healthy, but a molecule, resveratrol, in the wine that does it. it has not been proven that it does anything beneficial to humans yet though. Even if it does you will not get the benefits from drinking wine because you would need to drink 300 glasses a day to get the amount of resveratrol that would do anything.

There are plenty of other health benefits from drinking wine though so you can still self medicate
