I tried this because I've heard of similar things and what do you know, it's pretty tasty. It's nothing fancy, super easy.

1 sprig fresh mint leaves
1/4 tsp lime juice
12 oz Sprite (or prefered lemon lime soda)
1/4 cup crushed ice

Crush lime and mint together. I just used a cup to crush them in a bowl. Add a little of the soda, about a tblsp. Swirl around. Put the crushed ice in the bottom of a large glass. Poor in the liquid from the bowl into over the ice making sure to strain out the large pieces of mint leaf (tiny pieces are ok). Poor the rest of the soda into the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge, lime slice, sprig of fresh mint or whateve seems appropriate.

Sounds very refreshingly delightful ... though I am going to have mine right now with San Pellegrino Sparkling Water instead of the soda.

Thanks for posting,
Have lovely wkend.
Ciao, Margi.
