I am trying to make coffee for my wife cause the K machine died. The issue is, she is saying it is foamy. Is this good or bad or how do I correct it? I dont drink it so I really dont know how it is supposed to be...

The foam might be "crema" which is good, but I can't tell without a picture. What grind did you use for the beans to prepare your FP?

I use a french press for coffee making. The water should be just below boiling at sea level. Course grind coffee, preferably fresh ground. I stir the coffee with the handle of a wooden spoon while brewing. If you do not stir, the grounds will float. That might be the foam she tastes.

That's how I do it too, 'cept I usually stir with a chop stick.
