OK, this is my new summer drink, folks!!!
First, ya gotta have simple syrup, because sugar doesn't dissolve in cold iced tea. (And it's easier to use)
Simple syrup:
2 c sugar (again, I use Splenda)
1 c water
Mix sugar and water together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temp.
I usually keep this in an old pint liquor bottle (Ran through dishwasher after each use, of course) and with a 1 ounce bar pourer closing up neck of bottle.
  • In an Iced Tea glass:
  • Fill with ice.
  • 2 oz of flavored vodka (This week it's Peach)
  • 4 oz Iced Tea
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
Stir well, and serve!!!

I was just going to post that myself MM. Hey, how about we forget about Starbucks and just make a few of these one day this summer? LOL

Sounds awesome minus the whole peach thing. Bad peach snapps experience when I was 18......playing quarters.......no need to say anymore.
