I found this recipe in one of the booklets that came with my daughter's american girl doll, Josefina (back in the good old days when she played with them:( ). Even though we play dolls anymore, we still make this hot chocolate - it is very good!

New Mexican Hot Chocolate
6 ounces sweet cooking chocolate
6 cups milk
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons sugar

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat. Stir until the chocolate melts and the ingredients are blended. Use an eggbeater and beat until frothy just before serving. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Thanks for the recipe. I am REALLY into cinnamon at the present time, let alone chocolate. I will probably wait until the goats start to produce again, 6 weeks to go!! I really do not care for the store bought milk I buy when the kids are dry.
