BBQ Cook Off in Cape Coral Florida

Thats how i liked it when I was out there as a child in the 70's. I had an aunt who had two cottages and she put my family & other relatives in both for a week or so, I remember walking out of the house & picking the fruit for morning breakfast with my elders.

I read in one of the other forums there was a cookoff of some type down there within the past 3-4 years?

Two of my coworkers, who are cooks where I work, spent their vacation there catering for someone that one of them knew. Although I never asked who it sounds like they had a good time.

Hey all, new here. I was wondering if there is any cooking contests on the south east side of Florida? If not, I will have to travel to the west coast in Nov.
