the best place i found was foodreference.com or go to google and put in cooking and recipe contests

i have submitted 2 recipes for the national chicken cookoff all ready and i want to get 2 to 3 more in it's for 50,000 the pillsbury one is 2 years away and the build a better burger is coming up this summer and thats for 50,000 plus i'm in a few small one at taste of home

hello all im a young chef in nz and have been in a few comps b4 i started my apprenticeship but am now going to enter more serious comps and was wondering if any1 has any advice on coming up with great ideas

You do a lot of searching and looking and then some experimenting of your own. Like any other great idea that someone comes up with - they draw inspiration from things they see.

Cooking contests are really fun. I have put together a cooking team to participate in steak cooking contests. Does anyone on this forum know of any upcoming steak cooking competitions?
