Question Broccoli and egg yolks -- any ideas?

I have two heads of broccoli (not the green kind but that, how can you describe it, kind with a black or very dark green floret). Anyway, I have two and I was thinking of a hash with one but I'm not sure what to do with the other -- I'd hate to waste it and I don't want it plain or raw.

Also, I have seven egg yolks I need to use or lose by tomorrow (I can add more). I could make a genoise, a curd, or creme Anglaise but I want to do something different -- preferably a savory dish, any ideas?

How about Impossible Broccoli and Cheese Pie or Impossible Chicken and Broccoli Pie. They're both delicious and so easy to make.

Recipes can be all over the internet, including here: Impossible Pie Recipe | Bisquick Impossible Recipe
or on the Betty Crocker website: Search Results for bisquick impossibly easy pie from BettyCrocker.com

As for the egg yolks, why not make a creme brulee for dessert. Try this recipe, or another on the internet: RecipeSource: Creme Brulee

Sunshine cakes call for a lot of yolks, too.

Blanche some of the broccoli and make a broccoli frittata.

Or you can poach them maybe and make eggs benedictine with broccoli and brie.

The broccoli fritta and very possible, impossible pie sound like winners! The eggs benidictine reminds me that I could use some of the eggs to make a rich white sauce with three of of the seven yolks. Perhaps a Sunshine Cake with the rest?

Thanks guys,

I have my grandma's recipe for Sunshine Pie, which is a from scratch lemon pie. Is the Sunshine Cake lemony also?

How about a Greek lemon soup (avgolemono)? That will use up those yolks.
