I need some kind of sauce to go with brown rice and chicken. I'm not gonna list everything I have but I have the most commonly used stuff like

White and red wine vinegar
soy suace
ketchup
mayonais
Worsershire sauce
garlic
ginger
red hot pepper sauce
mustard
HP sauce
different seasonings like chilli powder, paprika, cayene, cinamon, thyme oregan basil mustard seeds onion powder,
cornflour
stock cubes

that may not be everything. but basically if you got a recipe which may not contain all the ingredients, I may eitehr actually have them, or find a way around it..

I puree roasted red peppers (either fresh or jarred) and add some soy or teriyaki, lemon juice, s&p to taste. That makes a pretty good sauce.

Sorry so late :(. We like this:

Shiitake Mushroom Sauce

2 T butter
2 T minced onions
8 oz sliced shiitake mushrooms
1/2 c sherry
1/2 c chicken broth
3/4 c heavy whipping cream
salt and pepper

Saute the onions and mushrooms in butter. Remove the mixture from the pan and set aside. Add sherry to the pan and cook over high heat for 1 minute, and then add the chicken broth and cook until it is reduced by half. Reduce the heat, and add the cream and cook until the sauce thickens a bit. Return the mushroom mixture to the pan and add salt/pepper to taste.

It's good over chicken and steak.

Simple Garlic Sauce
2 t butter
1 T flour
1 C chicken broth
2 T white vinegar
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 t parsley

In a saucepan, melt butter.
Whisk in flour until mixture is dark brown, about 4 minutes
Add chicken broth and vinegar, bring to a boil
Add garlic and parsley
Keep to a boil until mixture is thickened, about 3 minutes
Pour over what ever you want.
