All kidding aside, a simple surf and turf is my suggestion. Let the steak and logster shine on their own.

You could also grill the steaks and serve with a lobster risotto.

I'd split the lobsters in half and grill them along with the steaks. We got the first of the season's canner lobsters this weekend! Have a great dinner!

I am afraid I am going to be the old maid at the young folk's party.

I do not believe lobster and steak should be served together. They are both lovely but the flavors to me do not complement one another.

I would use them for two different meals.

Just my personal palate and take on things.

I am with you auntdot. When I want steak I have steak. When I want lobster I have lobster. I have never wanted the two together. Of course I love them both and would not pass up the opportunity to have them even if served together.

To answer the OP's question, if you want them both at the same time then go simple. Grill the steak and steam the lobster. You can seat me next to Andy M. at the table.
