Graham wafer/cracker substitute

There are no Graham wafers/crackers in Australia. What else do others use as a substitute for these wonderfully versatile ingredients?

They are very easy to make!

Honey Graham Crackers Recipe - Allrecipes.com

I tried searching Aussie sites for a close equivalent. Shortbread buscuits can be made into a cookie crust, just like a graham cracker.
