ISO substitute for bead molasses

I'd never heard of bead molasses so went looking. Seems it's used in Chinese/Asian cooking so perhaps you might get an answer in the Ethnic Food forum.

I might just have to buy some. But as far as a substitute?----- Again, try in the Ethnic Foods forum. Good luck.
