Question Peanut Butter Chips Substitute

I have a peanut cluster recipe that calls for 2 cups of peanut butter chips. Can I use creamy peanut butter instead? If so, how much would I use?

Based on an experiment I did last year, I'm inclined to think I'd use less than 2 cups. Does anyone know for sure? I don't have time to experiment and I couldn't find any peanut butter chips at three stores yesterday. I'm not going back out again, people/shoppers are crazy this time of year.

I don't know for sure but I would start with one cup. If, after mixing, it seems to need more, you can always add some more.
