I used to keep a grinder full of both, but in fact simply prefer the stronger flavor and color of black and really don't give a poop if there are crunchy black specks in my food. As a matter of fact, I consider it one of the joys of owning a pepper grinder. To each their own, but I feel that I already have tons of spices in my cabinet that I, at times, have to throw out because of age. So I've decided against keeping white pepper.
