It should be cold enough in PA to let things cool outside. We do it all the time here in WI...

That was my original intention, Robsanx. I mentioned ealier I was afraid it would freeze. One extreme to the other.

Pacanis, we need to switch fridges..........my beautiful lettuce and parsley froze in the bottom drawer ( noone told me that's why it was empty in the first place though it chilled a nice bottle of white wine that had been there for 4 days ) and I had to fight a crowd at 7:30am this morning and your chili could have benefitted in my "freezer" while one day in an 80 degree fridge would not have turned my lettuce and parsley into mush.........NOT FAIR.........I don't even want to think about what tomorrow will be like.........

I put my chili to pasture today, expat. Ran into 20 turkeys when doing so. I can only hope they don't eat it.
And yeah, I'm ready to shoot this fridge, even if the chili was my fault. When I opened the door and saw the temp the first thing I did was check the freezer, thinking the thing had broken again.
