Leftover sweetened condensed milk - freeze?

I have leftover sweetened condensed milk from making a pie and have no use for it in the near future... can I freeze it without losing too much quality and is that safe to do?

How much do you have left? Do you know that it is an awesome treat to have coffee or black tea with condensed milk?

I agree with Charlie. You can freeze it, or try making some Dulce de Leche if you have a lot.
