Opened salsa - shelf life?

what is the shelf life of salsa opened?

Definitely refrigerate!! If it's refrigerated, I'd say about a week to a week and a half... it starts to smell strange after that, and get an odd consistency, more like a jelly. I wouldn't want to eat anything that doesn't look or smell as fresh as the first day it was opened, lol!

Salsa doesn't keep well. After a month in the refrigerator it will show the first signs of mold. I just threw out an almost full jar. Next time, I will keep it where I can see it in the fridge and use it in more things. I hate to have to throw away food!
