Does Basil need lots of water?

Yes of course, basil is a vegetable and like other vegetables it needs to be in a well drained moist soil that is always watered.So the soil is suppose to be wet for the basil to produce well.

Humidity is probably higher here, than there...got one in a pot on the deck..I watch it
& when it starts to wilt, I chunk a glass of water to it..............................BH51......
