OK, us experienced cooks/gardeners, a challenge for people to read and plan on for next year:

#1. I traveled in a trailer for three years. In that time, I kept an herb garden that I could pick up and place in the sink every few days when we were on the move. I'd pick it up when we set up and find the sunniest spot for it to spend its few days. Had great success on it, and to this day have a couple of plants that used to live in that one pot.

Question: If you had something about 15" in diameter (OK, maybe 20), what would YOU plant in it?

#2. If you had a space about, say 9 sq feet, what would you plant in it?

#3. If all you had was a small balcony or patio, what would you put in pots to enjoy for veggies or herbs?

#4. Windowsill: Self-explanetary. I've never had much luck in this department. Maybe my apartments faced the wrong direction.
