If you are looking at getting pregnant, lovage is a no-no. It is really cool plant--grows about 4 ft. tall, looks like celery, comes back anually. It tastes like celery as well.

Called Ligústico or Apio de montaña in Spanish. Tender leaves are edible in salad. Flavor is very close to European (as opposed to the Asian) version of Maggi.
