When I lived inToronto, my plants were inside, in a windowsill that had a lot of sun in the afternoon.
I had different herbs and a beautifull plant of chives, that last me only until my cat "discover" that it was edible and to his taste!!
I remember a friend of mine had even a Benjamine tree inside the house, near the window in the salon. She also had flowers, I dont remember the name in this moment.

Good luck with your plants, have at hand a vaporizer, so you can humidify the leaves sometime during the day. It will be nice to have fresh herbs at hand anytime.

Well, one of my Xmas presents this year from my dear husband was an "Aerogarden Deluxe", so I guess I'll be doing some indoor veggie growing after all - assuming, of course, that I can figure out a way to keep the cats away from it. . . .

Amen to indoor gardening! I have fresh herbs year round and cherry tomatoes and potatoes. I plant them in large deep storage containers and the herbs in window boxes that I keep inside.

A forum is but a forum; the people make it a family.
