Holy cow! Our cucumbers are huge this year! I put this in the cucumber salad tonight. It's sitting on a full-sized dinner plate!

Our cucumbers are giving it their all here, too. I check the vines thoroughly every day but, yesterday, I somehow missed one enormous one. It's the size of a bus. Well, not really, but it's immense.
However, it's perfect in color and shape. Perfectly rounded at each end and the striping is beautiful. It's almost a shame to cut into it...but we will.

I planted English cucumber seeds and I think they got them wrong. They seem to fat to be English? Is there more than one variety of English (long seedless) cucumber?

My wife brought home a really unusual squash the other day. It looked like it was half yellow and half zucchini.
I wish I had snapped a photo of it.
It was almost exactly half and half. Yellow and green.
Anyone ever seen one like that. Was i looking at a hybrid gone wild, or was it just a half yellow, half green yellow squash?
