also spinach, greeen beans, carrots.... cooler weather crops.
How do you know when the soil is warm enough for them? The packets and my books all say about 50 degrees. The temp outside has been 50-70 during the day, high 30's at night. Short of sticking a thermometer in there, does the soil being so dark and absorbing heat all day keep its temp?
Am I too early? I wanna play in my dirt!!!! :rolleyes:
 
go ahead and plant spinach, lettuce, peas, carrots, onions, kale, and collards, but hold off on the beans. Bean seeds will not germinate here in Ohio at this point, maybe another 3 to 4 weeks for beans here.
