So how big is too big with these buggers? We just back from being gone for 2 1/2 weeks and I have some that are huge! It's my first time growing them ... Any idea if they will still be good?

Also, I have some yellow crook neck that has gone nubbily. I'm guessing that is past it's prime ... ?

I let some of my spaghettis get too big last year. They seem to be alot more forgiving than regular squash. I would bake them. If they are past their prime, you can always compost them.

Beings its your first time growing them maybe there not to big. Cut into one of them and see how they are. And don't be scared to try the nubbily yellow crook neck either. Roy
