South American Wines

For those of you who may be interested in learning more about South American wines, here are a couple of good links:

Richard Nally: Twenty Exceptional South American Wines - Forbes.com . I recommend this article for its excellent, up-to-date general background about winemaking of South America, not necessarily the specific wines he writes about, most of which are hard to find and too expensive for my budget.

Wine Diva's "Hola Chile" article: Wine Reviews Main Page. This article features reviews of several good, reasonably-priced Chilean wines which are readily available in the US.

"Im going to break one of the rules of the trade here. Im going to tell you some of the secrets of improvisation. Just remember its always a good idea to follow the directions exactly the first time you try a recipe. But from then on, youre on your own." - James Beard
