I don't really have favorite show anymore. Mostly because there no cooking shows by the time I get home. They are all in the morning. In the evening it is all eatertaining.

I like the Mr. Know-It-All segments from the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show much better.

'The Food of France' by Waverly Root is an excellent book. It's interesting to note that the world's best wines are found in France. Seems a bit odd if the wines are the best in the world but the cuisine wouldn't be.

All righty then. The topic of the discussion is your favorite cooking show. Not about how French cooking is the world's best and only. Civility, people!

Masterchef Australia - without a doubt. Start watching series (= season) 6 or 7. It's really amazing how much better the Australian version is, compared to UK - and especially the US version.

I still keep coming back to Ina Garten. I have never made a recipe of her that was not good and did what she said. I get tired of the shows on my two channels (FN and CC) that are not about cooking. Really would like to see a show that had someone who taught me something about cooking.

Yes MC Australia is excellent. So is MC New Zealand.
MC USA is a joke compared. MC USA is more like 'Big Brother' and 'As The World Turns' set in a commercial kitchen.

I can't watch any of these so-called "reality shows." Anything with a competition, a battle, a war... fake arguing, fake drama... swearing all the time. (I have the world's record for the filthiest mouth, but we don't need it on TV to boost ratings IMO.)

Who can make the biggest cupcake??? Who cares?

I did a show with Bobby Flay back in 2010... Grill It, with Bobby Flay. We shot it in Hollywood, CA... Bobby was VERY nice and professional. It was a very good experience, which was cool, because I've worked with a few other celebrities over the years and most times, it was a bummer.

If anyone has any questions as to how the Grill It series was shot, ask me...

That's cool What did you make?

Have you ever seen "Beat Bobby Flay"? It seems to me that his competition shows are designed to showcase other talented chefs, which is one of the things I like about him.

I made Atlantic salmon (a whole fish on the grill), grilled venison chops with a chocolate / blueberry sauce and bannock.

Nope, I haven't seen Beat Bobby... I don't have satellite TV, just the Google... so I have Net Flix and the Youtubes.
