Taking peppers out of the freezer

I have a friend who smoked a bunch of jalapenos for me. Didn't dry them completely, so I froze them.

I'm wondering if I can take them out of the freezer and dry them on the dehydrator at this point?

After they were dry, I would use the food processor to make a chipoltle powder. I think it would be much easier to keep and portion out the peppers this way.

Do you think it would spoil them, or would this be ok?

I'd guess it's worth a try. Defrost them and cut them into several pieces and blot them dry before you start.

Another alternative would be to put them into an adobo sauce.
