Boiling chicken same as crockpot?
Does anybody know if boiling a chicken has the same effect as putting it in a crock pot? Thanks

Yes, but you shouldn't boil it, just simmer it. Simmering will just have a few bubbles coming up to the surface of the liquid rather than a full rolling boil.
