Brining a turkey

It has already been brined. A flavored salt solution was introduced into the bird at the processing plant.

If you brine it, nothing bad will happen. It just won't have as noticeable an impact.

You can brine a FRESH Butterball. I have 2 in the fridge waiting to be brined and roated.

FROZEN Butterballs have already been treated with saline solution. You need not brine them.

Well, darn. I am guessing Wal-Mart won't take it back and let me exchange it for a fresh one (although I don't actually think our Wal-Mart had fresh turkeys).

I wanted to do a honey brine I have a recipe for.

Thanks anyway
