Caribbean Turkey Kebobs

Thought this looked interesting.

Ingredients

500 g boneless, skinless turkey thigh 1 lb

3 green onions, chopped fine 3

3 cloves garlic, minced 3

25 mL lime juice 2 tbsp

15 mL soy sauce 1 tbsp

5 mL grated ginger root 1 tsp

5 mL lime zest 1 tsp

5 mL Tabasco sauce 1 tsp

1 mL pepper 1/4 tsp

1 red pepper 1

1 medium onion 1

Directions

Cut turkey into 24 small cubes and place in large bowl. Mix all marinade ingredients together in a separate bowl. Pour over turkey, stirring to coat all pieces evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Cut red pepper and onion into cubes. Thread turkey pieces onto 8 skewers, alternating with pepper and onion cubes. Barbecue on a greased grill heated to medium for 405 minutes per side. Test for doneness by slicing into a turkey cube after 8-10 minutes. Turkey should be cooked until it is just no longer pink on the inside.
