I went to a Greek owned restaurant, that served fried chicken. It was breaded in bread crumbs and fried. Anyone, add anything else??? Don't know about what spices or exactly how to fry it. I didn't taste oregano or lemon in it. Thanks for your help !!!!

There is a Greek seasoning called Cavender's that is very good on poultry. You should be able to find it at your local grocery store.

Cavender's seasoning

I lived on the island of Crete for just over a year and had great fried chicken (as well as seafood and lamb) Many seasoned with a blend of oregano, dried lemon and garlic. The majority of the time the chicken was marinated in a yogurt marinade and then I loved eating it with fried potatoes and tatziki and a squeeze of lemon or lime. It was always fried in an olive oil blend. When I would travel the Greek mainland I can't recall having fried chicken. I have had Cavender's Greek seasoning, but it seems to be loaded with msg.
