I need a binder of some sort

A few weeks ago I was at the Cheesecake Factory and ate their Buffalo Blast appetizer. Basically it's shredded chicken mixed with buffalo wing sauce, then encased in a wonton wrapper and deep fried. I tried making this at home, but the chicken keeps falling out when I take my first bite. Is there anything I can mix with the chicken and buffalo sauce to hold it all together a bit better?

I could have snuck my cheese thought in ahead of yours, but when I saw Jeeks mention slurry, I thought maybe the OP might not be looking for another food source, but rather a more neutral binder.
So while I may have seconded your cheese suggestion, two..... it was always first in my heart :wub: I was thinking shredded cheddar :pig:
