I'm not really into the whole bbq flavor, to me it can be as bad as putting ketchup on meat. But heres something that worked out good. I took 4 chicken quarters, skinned them and trimmed all the fat, rinsed in cold water. Put them into a glass casserole pan. Preheated oven to 550 because I didnt' know what temp I was going to use and thats as high as this oven goes. Poured bbq sauce on 2 of the quarters, and honey mustard on the other 2. Then I am like oh crap, the flavors will mix and it will taste weird. But I just put in the oven for an hour after reducing the temp to 450. Once I took them out, they were literally blackened on the surface and I thought I overcooked them, which they were. But I took them out, and I couldn't even differentiate one side from the other! The flavors blended perfectly. I took the pan drippings/sauce and mixed it with a package of frozen corn and heated. Was an outstanding meal let me tell you.
