Thank you, creative.

Hey, where ya been?

Yes, I think it's time to ressurect this thread. We have some fairly new guys and gals that I'd like to put to the gauntlet.

And I'll finish off a few unanswered questions in this thread.

OK, so, how did this work? I nominate casey, and Cas, for starters.

(And I really miss the brothers de Fraille. Bolas and Harry))

Hey, wait. Has Craigsy and med been grilled yet?

[QUOTE=buckytom;1500296]Thank you, creative.

Hey, where ya been?

Read a few of Creative's posts and you'll find what you seek.

Yes, I think it's time to ressurect this thread. We have some fairly new guys and gals that I'd like to put to the gauntlet.

Feeling the need for a self bump?

And fairly new could be considered subjective don't ya think?

And I'll finish off a few unanswered questions in this thread.

Then get with it.

Zagut, I think Bucky meant resurrecting the whole Getting to Know... Forum!

That would be nice LP but for some reason I don't see that happening.

Some simply can't let water pass under the bridge and it causes all who watch said water to define sides.

It's a shame but it's the way of the world we live in.

I know what exactly what you mean. And I too miss the two brothers. Specially Harry. He understood my love of Welsh music. More than I can say for my own kids.

Sorry, Zagut, I don't really know what you mean. If you mean that people will be jealous if they don't get a getting to know thread, well, we are all adults. You can even start your own thread if you want.

Actually, in looking back, it was the mods/admins that started the threads.

Sorry to cause bad feelings. That's not what I had intended. I sincerely thought we maybe had some new folks, and some less than new who would have fun answering questions.

I too enjoyed the process, back in the day. I would think that there would be many new people here that would enjoy perusing the old posts.

This world is too PC and too many people don't know how to have a little fun with themselves. My D.C. Moniker (given to me by Bucky know less, oops, no pun intended there BT, no less.) refers to my Native American Heritage (not so much my German, French, and Scottish parts), and the fact that I can get, um, long-winded at times Yes, I know; it's hard to believe, but too true, The first time I saw it, I fell in love with it. It's not an insult. It's a part of who I am, and a good natured bit of ribbing from a good friend.

Ok ladies if D.C., assemble on the road in front of my house, side by side. I've gt fresh snow for making snowballs and need targets. Afterwards, you can chat with D.W. about what a scoundrel I am while I make you the best hot chocolate on the planet.

I'm digressing again. Time to exit this thread.

Ha ha ha! 😁 Sorry, Chief! We have 78 sunny degrees right now and I am not giving it up for any dang snowball fight! In fact, I'm going to go see if I have the makings for a margarita!

Bucky, from where I see it, you have nothing to be sorry about.

This was a fun way to get to know people and I am all for starting it up again. If there is some problem you and I are unaware of (as we both exited around the same time) it would be great if one of the mods/admins could weigh in about it!

Just please don't leave us again!

PS, If we do start new threads I might suggest a new one for me as I am in many ways a new person (not just a new first name!)
