Getting to Know Kayelle

1. If you could pick the time period you would want to live in, what time would you pick?

2. Name a musical artist you enjoy that most other people would not know of.

3. Describe your perfect day.

What is your favorite thing to cook?

Who are your heroes?

What was the last book you read (if any)?

1. Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?

2. If money were no object and you had a year to do anything at all you wanted, what would you do?

3. How do you want to be remembered when you are gone?

1. I really had to think about this GB. Assuming I could take everyone I now love with me, I'd have to say the '50's. I grew up in that time period, and I remember it as "Happy Days" when things were a whole lot less complicated than they are today. Kids I knew stayed on the straight and narrow, because their "reputation" was at stake. What a novel thought these days.

2. That would be "Pink Martini".....I just love that group. If you've never heard of them, check them out, you won't be sorry. Fantastic eclectic music!!

3. Sitting in a beach chair on the sand at the mouth of our harbor, under an umbrella with a good book, and watching the sail boats drift in and out. Perfect.

Gosh, I really like cooking lots of things, but this time of year I really enjoy cooking soups, or long cooking comfort foods.

The word hero is really subjective, isn't it. I can think of many famous people like Mother Teresa, and people like our military who lay down their lives for us every day. I guess my personal hero was my Mom, a really remarkable woman.

That would be Sister Francis Eugene, my high school sciences teacher. I'd spend hours after school in the lab with her. I had lots of good teachers, but she seemed to really like me, and took me under her wing.

I'm blessed to have a husband who's passion is traveling, so I'm really doing what I want to do. He has already seen the world, and now he's showing me. I'm one lucky lady to be sure.

Besides being a good wife, mother, grandmother, friend, I'd like to just be remembered as a decent person and someone worth knowing.

1. Who would you invite for dinner, living or dead?

2. If I lost you in the bookstore, what section would I find you in?

3. You have 48 hours of freedom, what are you going to do?

Would you get more satisfaction from preparing a perfect meal for ten people or from teaching those ten people how to prepare that meal?
