I jump in the car with a stack of books, a bucket of chicken, lots of water and soda and head for the hills. I come back when I feel civilized again.

Oh, very nice. Sometimes the only way to feel civilized is to leave civilization for a while.

I'm not really a celebrity type person, most of them I have admired are dead now. I would have to say...Dr. Mark Sanz...the man I never met who saved my life. He should count, he's on a billboard here in town.

How did he save your life, if you don't mind my asking?

He stopped my heart attack and fixed the problem. He is just a voice and the vision of a man in a surgical mask.

Hi Nikki!!!

How big is the block of chocolate?

Harvard Beets
  • 1 (16 ounce) can beets, reserve 1/4 cup of liquid
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Very simple, but I was trying to impress Shrek and show him i could cook without a recipe. I'm not sure how much cornstarch I added, but it resembled pink wall paper paste and had the same consistency. I added more vinegar and it became too runny. By the time I finished trying to "fix" the problem I had almost 2 quarts of pink goo with bright red bits in it. We didn't eat it.

One of those big industrial size blocks, lol, j/k. About 10 x 10, that sounds like a good size to work with....
