We took care of each other throughout the years!

I do have some ghost stories, but ghosts don't scare me.

When I first started as a nurses assistant (CNA) I worked the Alzheimer's ward. One of my gentlemen, Jack, was far gone with Alz. and never walked or spoke while I was caring for him. He was at the end of his life and I had to go home that day, desperately not wanting to, because I felt the need to be there.

Once home and asleep, I had a dream that Jack walked up to me at the park and invited me to a picnic. I joined him and he introduced me to many people gathered at the picnic. I woke at 4 am, crying and knowing that he had died.

When I got to work I asked when he had died...at 4 am. My co-worker told me as we were laying people down for bed that night that she had woke up at 4 in the morning, knowing Jack had died. We then compared dreams and we both had the exact same dream.

Two weeks later I was at the nurses station and there was a man at the counter. He turned to me and said, "Hello Elizabeth, we met at a picnic." It was Jack's son and we HAD met at the picnic in my dream. He explained that his father was very spiritual and said he was going to be watching over those he loved after he died.

Tonight as I relate this, the same thing happens anytime I talk about Jack, I feel his presence. He's been with me now for 18 years and what I feel is Love.

I told you, my ghost stories don't scare me...

It's also why I take care of the dying, they need someone and I am that someone.

Okay, I have a new question for you. If you could meet anyone (for the first time), living or dead, who would it be and what question(s) would you ask them?
