Tough question Timothy :(
I'll have to go for freshly caught Crayfish, grilled right there on the beach and served with garlic and lemon butter, fresh bread and Amarula on Ice.

I can give many more favourites but this I usually eat when I'm with good friends and family and that makes it tastes so much better :)

1. Embassy (A local Indian restaurant)- They make the best Paneer Korma and Naan bread ever! I love spicy foods :)

2. Pork Pie (Recipe from Bolas)- Just finished making and tasting it. Devine! I've been craving pork pie for so long and finding a recipes that tastes just like I remember my favourite tasting was great :)

3. I love breakfast foods so when I indulge I would go for a soft cooked omelette filled with Mozza and Gouda and crispy bacon bits. Fried tomatoes and thick slices of toast laden with fresh butter. Condiments must be: W/sauce, tabasco and a nice homemade preserve :) Apricot if I can find.

What does love smell like?

You have to evacuate your house. You have enough time to pack up your family, personal effects (cell phone, wallet/purse, keys, etc.) and pets. You still have to hurry though so you only have time to pack 5 more items. What items would you pack?

If cooking were music what genre would it fall in?

Do you have a favorite poet?

1. Tough one. I would have to say love smells like salty tears, baby powder, milky burps. The only true love I've ever experienced would have to be when I first laid eyes on my little angels. Nothing beats that natural bond between mother and child :)

2. I would take photo's because they cannot be replaced, my books because they are as precious as earthly belongings can be to me, my laptop so I can sulk about the whole affair on DC..lol!, my chest freezer since it's full of food we will need and a bottle of vodka so that I can get over the shock of losing everything knowing I don't have insurance!

3. Rock, a few crashes, bangs and a little bit of tenderness all mixed up to make something wonderful.

4. Sadly no, since being forced to read depressing and boring words written by dead people in High School, I never did develop a love for poetry.

I don't know much about my ancestry. My father is Irish but was raised in South Africa. My Grandfather sadly passed away before I was born. My father did say that my maiden name is a modern form of our family name "Dufan". My Grandad was born and raised in Dublin and met my Gran when he was 17 and they moved to South Africa after being married. My Grandfather died of a heart attack in front of my Father when he was 12 after my Father had nagged him to go swimming and he said he wasn't feeling well. Sadly my Dad feels responsible for his death and won't talk much about it.
