I know this looks, sounds and is crazy. BUT, it turned out to be one of the best burgers I've ever made! The bun is two grilled cheese sandwiches, surrounding a 1/3lb chuck burger with 3 strips of bacon and the fixin's!

Kind of like the double coronary Vortex Grill burger I make once a year... except it's a little light on the bacon and needs a fried egg

Good stuff! Thanks for the pics.

Larry that looks fantastic!

How about some pepper jack cheese in those sandwiches!

Pac is right another once a year treat.

My problem is that I have 365 once a year treats in my recipe file! :ermm::ohmy::LOL:

OOOOOOOOH! That's like the Behemoth Burger that the "Grill 'em All" food truck did in the Great Food Truck Race. wowee!

I could gather together 10 friends who are also trying to loose weight and we could devide it up. Everyone could have a taste!

Looks fantastic!

Wow!!! :chef:

We were going out tonight to our local burger place. Your recipe just nixed that idea. I'm having that. Hold the pickles add extra jalapeno's please.

Have you ever toasted a cheeze sammich on a waffle iron? Want to?

I did that. It was the best one I've ever had. They need to be smooshed. Toasted, quartered just right.

Thanks for the recipe.

This neither looks nor sounds crazy, unless you mean crazy good! :yum:

wowzer! nice boigah!

you might as well go for it and add a slice of grilled ham or taylor pork roll, and the egg pacnar mentioned.

there's a greek place here in the city that makes it that way. plus some "big nick's" special sauce which is like a cross between tsatsiki and french dressing.

i'm getting tightness in my chest just thinking about this.
