Don't know what your problem is and I have no intention of getting into a pi$$ing contest with you. So, whatever you've been smoking or drinking, why don't you go sleep it off.

Drift is drift so what the hey.

"The point of my post was, you can call a sandwich a Po Boy, but IMHO, if it ain't spicy, has remoulade and dressed, it ain't real! I hope this isn't deja Vu! "

Point well taken.

I'll have to give a NO Po Boy a try.
Got a remoulade recipe to recommend?

Steamed is the only way to go.

I shall post that for you over the weekend. Just like prefering steamed crabs over boiled, I tried steamed crawfish in Savannah and have to say I prefer boiled.

Looking forward to it.

But please remember.

"Maryland is for crabs."

Those of us who grew up here on the water take that to heart.

And we really are.

Well, now that all of you have sorted out your differences, I prefer a lobster salad in a New England style toasted hot dog bun. It is one of the rare occasions I will eat the bread. I could pig out on one of them. Or shrimp salad, Or crab salad. But it has to be in a New England toasted style hot dog bun.

My mother, father, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins were all born there and hail from the eastern shore. I am the only one born in Florida. BTW, don't forget the oysters, rock fish and pickled onions!

Zagut: thanks for your contribution.

Craig: I know that you are a native Floridian, however, where or what does NO stand for ?

I do agree with you that each local place has their own take on a specific dish or sandwich, in this case and different ingredients.

Eating a Hero in downtown NYC tastes different than eating one in Puglia, Italia.

Have nice wkend,
Ciao. Margi.
