Prosciutto,Fig Triangle sammies

You really need very fresh white bread for these sandwiches, Cut off the crusts This will make 2 sandwiches. butter softened for easy spreading. spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Then spread 2 teaps. of a good fig jam over the butter on each slice. arrange 2 thin slices of prosciutto on half of the slices. Place remaining slices of bread jam side down on the prosciutto. Using a large chefs knife cut the sandwiches in half to form 2 triangles. Serve right away. Good with a small green salad or else wrap in plastic wrap and put in frig. A nice hot soup like onion would be nice too. It can also be cut into tiy triangles and used for an appy.
