I'm sure some of you know what Paska is, it's an Easter bread with a lemon flavour, and the loaf is traditionally (in my family anyway) topped with icing and sprinkles, and there's a cheesy kind of spread that goes with it.

Has anyone tried making the loaf in the bread machine? If you have a recipe, would you mind sharing it?

Thanks! Can't wait for Easter Paska!

You can always mix the dough in the machine, let it do its first/second rising and then take it out for its final shaping and baking. That's what I used to do before my machine went phooey. Now I use the Kitchen Aid to mix large batches of dough or just my own arm power for small batches.

I've only done the dough in the bread maker. I prefer it done the regular way though. Thanks for reminding me I need to go dig out that recipe. I'll try to remember to post it for you.
