Smoked french bread

I've done this a few times, it is somewhat fun and so easy(used the wifes bread machine).

I measure the water(even the temp) and the flour, but the rest is eyeballed. Just a simple bread machine french bread dough; water, flour, surgar(I use honey), salt, and yeast. I also add basil, granulated garlic, and that italian seasoning shake.

After the woman, er I mean bread machine, does the work, make a loaf or two(of bread, no time for that "duty" now) and let rise for an hr or so.

Get the smoker ready, and smoke at about 300* w/mesquite(pellet smoker). Takes 45min or so, take it off when it looks good or ya get too hungry.

Rest and slice.
