Just a little something I slapped together. Came out pretty tasty so I would like to share :)

250gr self rising flour
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
100gr butter
2 scallions or spring onions finely chopped (chives work well too)
25gr chopped sun dried tomatoes
250ml grated cheddar
1 large egg beaten
125ml buttermilk

In a large mixing bowl sieve flour, salt and cayenne together.
Rub in the butter till the mix resembles fine breadcrumbs, then add onion, tomatoes and cheese.
Make a well in the center and gradually stir in the egg and buttermilk.
Spoon batter into a 20cm x8cm loaf tin. Grease and flour tin first!
Bake in a 180C oven for 45mins or till a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

The bread sounds good, but a lot of changing to cups, oz, etc. I'll make it when I feel like doing the research. Thanks.
