The Jiffy Cornbread Mix is also good if you add sugar (to taste) before you bake it. (also very fast and easy)

Addtional "leavening" agents really are not necessary when using Self Rising meals...Want hurt anything but really are not needed. Now using "plain" meal or fresh stoneground that I use...thats a whole new ballgame.
