ISO - Donut machine recipe

I have just bought an automatic ring donut machine with hopper

Does anyone know a great recipe , for flavour and consistancy., to use in an automactic donut cooker

i am in England and cannot find any recipes at all

didnt even get an operating manual

problem that machines are different and alot depends on the machine, how it distributes the batter for example, etc.

not really retail, more treats when i go to my social club

didnt think there would be a youtube vid on mixing donuts, that helped

now just need to find a local supplier of the mix

I bought a doughnut pan a while back and it came with this recipe for cake doughnuts:

• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]2 cups cake flour, sifted[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]¾ cup granulated sugar[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]2 tsp baking powder[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]¼ tsp ground nutmeg[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]1 tsp salt[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]¾ cup buttermilk[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]2 eggs, lightly beaten[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]2 Tbs butter, melted[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]In a large mixing bowl, sift together cake flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Add buttermilk, eggs, and butter. Stir until just combined. Fill each doughnut cup approximately ⅔ full.[/FONT]

Look here for the best yeast-raised doughnuts I've ever made, or eaten. I believe it's the original Spudnut Recipe. It will work wonderfully in your machine.
