Funny - the article says "Cake Yeast is available in limited markets in the midwest and northeastern U.S." I did a search on their website and found 11 stores near me that carry it. So it's probably available in any fairly large market.

I've gotten it in Missoula, MT...just ask at the "scratch" bakery and they may sell you some.
