What unusual things do you put in pancakes?

I like teeth in my pancakes, anybodies, my wife's, my kid's, freinds, etc. And then, after the teeth are put in, I expect to see smiles.

Chopped pralines from Aunt Sally's on Decatur Street. The banana pralines are especially wonderful in pancakes.

I definitely put vanilla in every one and want to try making whole wheat with flax seed in them...I've added bananas, apple slices and pecans, but as a kid we loved to separate the batter and put food coloring in them to make different colored ones! We also would cook in some sprinkles too!

1/2 cup wheat flour
2 t Splenda
1/2 t baking powder
3 T milled flax seed
1/2 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 t vanilla
